Fluid Power Service Technician
Sioux Falls & Aberdeen Positions Available
Due to continued growth, Dakota Fluid Power, Inc., a regional leader in Hydraulic sales, service and repair, is looking for individuals to fill openings in our Sioux Falls and Aberdeen locations for Service Technicians.

SKILLS:

  1. Basic machine shop experience capable of operating lathe, mill, welder.
  2. Fabrication of power units, control panels, custom machinery.
  3. Hydraulic system installation.
  4. Cylinder repair and fabrication.
  5. Bench repair-pumps, motors, valves etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Capable of reading and understanding basic hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
  2. Understand basic machining principles and practices.
  3. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Must provide basic hand tools.
  5. Understand basic welding principles and practices. With some supervision, should be capable of wire feed, TIG and stick welding.
DESIRED QUALITIES:
  1. Highly motivated, self starter.
  2. Excellent problem solving skills.
  3. Detail oriented.
  4. Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Salary dependent upon experience.
