For a third year, Dakota Fluid Power joined together on January 9th for some camaraderie while volunteering at the Banquet of Sioux Falls, SD. For decades, The Banquet in downtown Sioux Falls has been feeding those who need help in finding a meal. Volunteers are the heart and soul of The Banquet ministry. The Banquets mission is to equip volunteers to provide food and fellowship to those served through this ministry. They provide a safe place where people can gather, receive nourishment and experience love in action. Volunteer groups come from churches, businesses, service clubs, schools and individual families.
DFP volunteers helped prepare the food and then had the opportunity to serve the food as well. Volunteers met people from all walks of life, serving nearly 500 adults and children.
