SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Inside Sales is responsible for maintaining and improving customer relationships through timely and professional response to customer’s inquires and order processing. Working closely with product development and outside sales to provide unparalleled customer service.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Utilizing ERP system to prepare and send quotes to customers.
  • Process purchase orders when received; verify pricing and send verification of receipt to the customer.
  • Maintain and update open orders at a regular intervals.
  • Correspond with customers, vendors and staff regarding open orders, account information, invoices, and assist with customer/vendor complaint resolution.
  • Procure materials to support customer orders or replenish stock as required. Work with purchasing department when ordering common parts.
  • Increase inventory turn rate; set appropriate inventory levels by working with production, sales and manufacturing engineering personnel.
  • Create and maintain part numbers and assemblies in ERP system.
  • Work closely with system designers, production and vendors to provide account managers with the latest information on customer order status.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer information.
  • Respond to customers’ phone, fax and/or email inquiries, assisting or relaying to appropriate personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned.
