Service Technician
Summary of Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for the Service Technician is to provide service to Dakota Fluid Power customers in repairs, maintenance of vehicles, repairs, maintenance, refurbishing or rebuilding of equipment of products. The Service Technician must always exhibit positive and effective interaction with all DFP customers, associates and vendors.

Job Duties:
  • Commit and uphold the Dakota Fluid Power safety commitment in all actions and communications as it applies in our safety manuals and procedures.
  • Create and maintain accurate service and repair documents for all work to be performed.
  • Use and understand all documents, forms and procedures as they apply.
  • Diagnose issues with hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and compressed air systems.
  • Service and repair on-road, off-road mobile equipment and industrial fluid power systems.
  • Service and repair hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders and all other system components requiring attention.
  • Refurbish, rebuild and replace required components to restore equipment to required working condition.
  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks as the project requires.

Ability to read and understand hydraulic, electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics; ability to learn lathes, milling machines, drill presses, hydraulic press and similar equipment. Value Add
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibility of the Value-Add position is to support the Branch Operations Manager in the daily activities needed to sustain the location. The Value-Add personnel will manufacture hoses and work on projects that require the assembly of components and systems. This position is crucial to maintaining the appearance, function, and efficiency of the branch.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Accurately assemble components and systems per prints, diagrams and schematics with little or no supervision.
  • Manufacture hoses per DFP assembly procedure and customer specifications.
  • Maintain hose assembly area according to DFP cleanliness standards. Keep hose ends stocked and dump hose barrel as needed.
  • Maintain the appearance of the DFP facility. May include snow removal, weed removal and garbage pick-up.
  • Assist shipping/receiving as necessary to ensure timely receipts of products, accurate shipping to internal/external customers, and inventory accuracy.
  • Organize and maintain the designated pallet area.
  • Make local part runs as necessary to assist the Sales and Service Departments.

Warehouse Coordinator
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibilities for the Warehouse Coordinator are to supervise all shipping and receiving activities for the location; ensure accurate distribution of inventory to customers of DFP and other DFP locations; perform accurate cycle counts; coordinate with the Corporate Inventory Manager to improve inventory management efficiency and accuracy.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Train warehouse staff to accurately perform all manual and clerical duties of shipping and receiving in accordance with DFP set procedures. Ensure all staff have a competent understanding of the shipping and receiving processes within the computer system (P21).
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure all incoming shipments are inspected for quality defects, correct product, quantity and fit for use.
  • Identify, label, and store materials for proper tracking and bin location. Create and establish bin boxes for all inventory parts. Monitor inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain a cycle count program. Know where all inventory is located, understand the in and out inventory as it relates to P21 and be able to identify inventory variances.
  • Review and resolve inventory discrepancies on stock quantities, packaging, and quality.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure sales orders are accurately picked, packaged, and shipped on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate and assist in stocking shelves as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

Summary of Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of Shipping/Receiving is to ensure the accuracy and promptness of all incoming and outgoing shipments of parts and orders for staff and customers of Dakota Fluid Power.

Job Duties:
  • Ability to learn, understand and complete without error, all aspects of the shipping and receiving processes within the corporate computer system.
  • Pull customer orders and complete transfers as needed.
  • Load and unload truck shipments as needed.
  • Put materials away and store inventory properly.

Summary of Responsibilities/Duties:
The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Representative Support individual is to provide timely and professional customer service to Dakota Fluid Power customers, while supporting DFP Sales through effective communication, excellent organization and time management skills.

Job Duties Include:
  • Data entry of customer orders, conversion of quotes into orders and billing utilizing the Electronic Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Work closely with purchasing to complete stocking and special orders to consolidate purchases and shipping.
  • Monitor and verify that purchase orders are confirmed for delivery; record information into the ERP system.
  • Acknowledge and confirm to customer and vendor that orders are placed.
  • Utilize open order reports to monitor and follow-up on customer orders.
  • Verify customer pricing based on quotes and customer history; request customer purchase order adjustments and authorization as needed prior to processing order.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
The primary responsibility for the Production/Manufacturing Coordinator is to generate, organize, and purchase components for production orders and assemblies to ensure project completion in a timely efficient manner for customer satisfaction. Compressed Air Technical Services Manager

Summary of Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Compressed Air Technical Services Manager are to perform and assist in the specification, design, analysis, and quoting of compressed air systems, components, and piping.
